New Homeowner Safety Inspection Reports

Have you moved house recently or moving shortly?

Brent Jones Chimney Sweep offers an extensive, first class safety inspection report for your solid fuel appliance.

The process includes the following steps:

  • Initial visual inspection of the installation – this is to make sure that it is in line with The Building Regulations 2010 and the current standards
  • Visual inspection and examination of the appliance
  • Chimney sweep the flue
  • Camera check of the flue – this is to clearly check the condition and any possible defects with the chimney
  • Issue of Certificate of Chimney Sweeping and the HETAS Inspection Report – will inform you of the checks that have been performed, any particular issues with the appliance that had been identified and any action or work that is require to meet the standards
  • Homeowner pack – advice on using the appliance, fuel, how frequent a sweep would be required and more

 

Please be aware that the inspection report is not a HETAS Certificate of Compliance.
